How free works, in plain words
KreatorFlow is a credit-based studio, so "free" means a starter balance rather than unlimited images. Every new account gets 25 credits once. The default image model, Seedream 4.5, costs 2 credits per image at any size up to 4K, so the starter credits cover 12 images. That is enough to test your own prompts, compare styles and see whether the studio fits your work before you spend anything.
There is no trial that turns into a subscription and no card on file. When the credits are gone, generation simply stops until you add more with a credit pack or a plan, or you earn free credits from our Discord rewards and giveaways. Failed generations are refunded automatically, so a broken image does not eat into your free balance.
KreatorFlow is an official partner of BytePlus, a ByteDance company. The images come from ByteDance's Seedream models running on BytePlus, the same models used on paid plans.
What 25 starter credits buy
- 12 Seedream 4.5 images from a prompt, 1K to 4K
- Image templates at 3 credits each (portraits, product shots, ads)
- A saved, reusable character for 4 credits
- Prompt edits of an existing image at 2 credits each
- Up to 14 reference images per generation at no extra cost
- 9 aspect ratio options, including 9:16 and 16:9
Try Seedream 5.0 Pro (2K)
Seedream 5.0 Pro is ByteDance's newest Seedream model for detailed stills. It renders at 1.5K or 2K from up to 10 reference images and costs 4 credits at 2K. The starter credits work on it too: 25 credits cover 6 images at 2K. Open it in the image studio or read the Seedream 5.0 Pro guide with prices and a comparison with Seedream 4.5.

Questions other free AI image generators skip
Is there a daily limit on top of the credits?
Yes, and we would rather say so up front. A free account makes up to 20 images a day, one at a time, and each one waits about 60 seconds in a queue before it starts. The 25 starter credits are a one-time balance, not a daily refill.
Does the model change how many free images I get?
Yes. The image studio opens on Seedream 5.0 Pro, which costs 4 credits at 2K. Seedream 4.5 costs 2 credits at any size up to 4K, which is where the 12-image count on this page comes from. Pick Seedream 4.5 in the model menu (the studio links on this page open it directly) to make the starter credits go furthest.

Are free images lower quality than paid ones?
No. A free account uses the same Seedream models, the same 1K, 2K and 4K sizes and the same 14 reference image slots on Seedream 4.5 as a paid plan. What differs is the "Made on KreatorFlow.ai" badge, the short queue and daily cap, one image at a time, and no daily bonus credits.
Who owns free images, and can I use them commercially?
You do, on every plan including the free plan, and you may use them commercially within the Acceptable Use Policy. Two honest caveats: AI output may not be protected by copyright in every country, and owning an image gives you no rights to a real person, brand or copyrighted character that appears in it.

Are my prompts and images public, or used for training?
Private by default. An image only becomes public if you post it to Explore or show it on your public profile, and we do not use your prompts, uploads or images to train AI models without your explicit opt-in.

How long are free images kept?
Unsaved studio history on a free account is kept for 7 days. Download an image or save it to your assets to keep it; saved assets do not expire while your account is open.

What is not included for free
Video is limited on a free account. Free accounts can make video on Seedance 2 Fast and Seedance 2.0 Mini at 720p. Free video is queued and rate limited. A plan adds every video model, including Seedance 2.0 and 2.5, 720p and 1080p (4K on Pro and above), no queue and more credits. If you want the higher-detail Seedream model or longer video, the AI image generator and Seedance video generator pages explain what each plan adds.

Free AI image generator questions
Can I use Seedream 4.5 for free?
Yes, within your starter credits, but not unlimited. Every new account gets 25 credits once, and a Seedream 4.5 image costs 2 credits at any size from 1K to 4K, so the free credits cover 12 images. A free account has no daily claim: daily credits start on the Creator plan, up to 175 a month. After that, credit packs start at $8 with no subscription.
Is the KreatorFlow image generator really free?
It is free to try, not free forever. Every new account gets 25 one-time starter credits. A Seedream 4.5 image costs 2 credits, so the starter credits cover 12 images. When they are used up, you can buy a credit pack or pick a plan; there is no daily free allowance on a free account.
Do I need a credit card to sign up?
No. You sign up with an email address, confirm it, and the starter credits are added to the new account. You only enter payment details if you later buy a plan or a credit pack.
What can I make with the free credits?
Images, and some video. 12 Seedream 4.5 images at any size from 1K to 4K, or a mix: an image template costs 3 credits, a saved character costs 4 credits, and a prompt edit of an existing image costs 2 credits. The credits also work for video. Free video covers Seedance 2 Fast and Seedance 2.0 Mini at 720p only, queued and rate limited. Other video models and 1080p and above need a plan.
Do free images have a watermark?
A small one. On a free account every image carries a "Made on KreatorFlow.ai" badge in the bottom-right corner; images made on a paid plan download without it. The provider's own watermark is switched off on every plan.
Are there limits on a free account?
A free account runs one image at a time, makes video only on Seedance 2 Fast and Seedance 2.0 Mini at 720p (queued and rate limited), and cannot claim the daily bonus credits that come with paid plans. Unrestricted (uncensored) mode, including photos of real people, needs an upgrade: any plan or credit pack unlocks it.
What happens when my free credits run out?
Nothing is charged automatically. Credit packs start at $8 for 160 credits with no subscription, and plans start at $19 for the first month on Creator, which adds every video model, including Seedance 2.0 and 2.5, up to 1080p, with no queue.
