What is the KreatorFlow API?
The KreatorFlow API gives developers ByteDance's Seedance video models, Seedream image models and text to speech through one REST API at https://kreatorflow.ai/v1, with a Bearer key, prepaid tokens at $0.05 (top-ups from $20), per-second video pricing (Seedance 2.0 from $0.110 per second at 720p), uploads, signed webhooks and an MCP server.
What can I build with it?
POST /v1/videos
Text to video, image to video, first and last frames and reference-led clips on Seedance 2.0, Seedance 2.0 Fast, Seedance 2.0 Mini and Seedance 2.5. Seedance 2.5 renders up to 30 seconds in one take.
POST /v1/video-edits
Transform, restyle or extend a source clip you own or have permission to use.
POST /v1/images
Seedream image generation and editing with prompts and references, from $0.05 an image.
POST /v1/audio
Text to speech in many voices (GET /v1/voices lists them) and sound or music from a prompt.
POST /v1/characters
Register a reusable character once and pass its id on later image and video jobs.
POST /v1/uploads
Upload images, clips and audio for references with a direct upload URL, then pass the upload id.
GET /v1/jobs/{id}
Poll status and download outputs from /v1/jobs/{id}/output, or receive a signed webhook instead.
MCP server
Let Claude, ChatGPT and other MCP clients call the same models: a key-based developer server and a sign-in consumer server.
Every endpoint, field, error code and the webhook signature are also in a machine-readable OpenAPI 3.1 spec at https://kreatorflow.ai/openapi.json, ready for Postman, code generators and AI agents.
What does a first request look like?
One POST creates the job; poll it or wait for the webhook, then download the file.
curl https://kreatorflow.ai/v1/videos \
-H "Authorization: Bearer $KREATORFLOW_API_KEY" \
-H "Content-Type: application/json" \
-H "Idempotency-Key: $(uuidgen)" \
-d '{"model":"kreator-video-seedance-2","prompt":"Slow dolly-in on a lighthouse at dusk, waves below","duration":5,"aspect_ratio":"16:9","resolution":"720p"}'The quickstart walks through the same flow in curl, Node and Python, with polling, downloads and error handling.
How much does the video API cost?
Per second of output, by model and resolution, from the developer API rate card as of 2 November 2026. The 5-second column is the quoted cost of a clip without a video input.

How many Seedance clips does a top-up cover?
Seedance 2.0 and 2.5 at 720p and above: tokens for one 5-second clip, and how many of those clips each prepaid top-up covers.
| Model · resolution | Tokens | 5 s clip | List rate per second | $20 top-up · 400 tokens | $50 top-up · 1,000 tokens | $100 top-up · 2,000 tokens | $250 top-up · 5,000 tokens |
|---|---|---|---|---|---|---|---|
| Seedance 2.0 · 720p | 11/5s | $0.55 | $0.110/s | 36 | 90 | 181 | 454 |
| Seedance 2.0 · 1080p | 24/5s | $1.20 | $0.240/s | 16 | 41 | 83 | 208 |
| Seedance 2.0 · 4K | 58/5s | $2.90 | $0.580/s | 6 | 17 | 34 | 86 |
| Seedance 2.5 · 720p | 21/5s | $1.05 | $0.207/s | 19 | 47 | 95 | 238 |
| Seedance 2.5 · 1080p | 45/5s | $2.25 | $0.444/s | 8 | 22 | 44 | 111 |
| Seedance 2.5 · 4K | 100/5s | $5.00 | $0.999/s | 4 | 10 | 20 | 50 |
Seedance 2.0 and 2.5, 720p and above. List rate per second is the rate card price; a clip is billed at that rate and its total rounded up to whole tokens ($0.05), which is why a 5-second clip can cost a cent or two more than rate x 5. Top-up columns: 5-second clips each top-up covers, without a video input. A 10-second clip uses about twice the tokens.
How much do images and speech cost?
| Model (alias) | Price | Limits |
|---|---|---|
| Seedream 4.5 (kreator-image-pro) | $0.10 per image | up to 14 references |
| Seedream 5.0 Lite (kreator-image-fast) | $0.05 per image | up to 4 references |
| Seedream 5.0 Pro (kreator-image-seedream-5-pro) | $0.10 per image | up to 10 references |
| Seedream 5.0 Flash (kreator-image-seedream-5-flash) | $0.05 per image | up to 10 references |
| Text to speech (kreator-speech) | $0.10 per 1,000 characters | up to 5,000 characters per request |
| Sound and music (kreator-sound) | from $0.10 per clip | priced by output length |
How do tokens and top-ups work?
The API is prepaid. One token is $0.05; a job reserves its quoted cost when it is accepted and releases it if the job does not complete. Top-ups come in fixed sizes:
- $20 for 400 tokens
- $50 for 1,000 tokens
- $100 for 2,000 tokens
- $250 for 5,000 tokens
- $500 for 10,000 tokens
- $1,250 for 25,000 tokens
- $2,500 for 50,000 tokens
- $5,000 for 100,000 tokens
Is there volume pricing?
Yes. Your tier comes from the top-ups you paid for in the last 30 days. It lowers the per-second price of Seedance video and raises your video request limit, automatically and with no contract. There is no cap on concurrent jobs at any tier.
| Tier | Paid top-ups, last 30 days | Seedance video price | Video requests / minute | Reached in one top-up |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| Standard | Any | List price | 20 | – |
| Scale | $1,000+ | up to 5% off | 60 | Volume pack ($1,250) |
| Growth | $2,500+ | up to 7.5% off | 120 | Volume+ pack ($2,500) |
| Enterprise | $5,000+ | up to 10% off | 300 | Enterprise pack ($5,000) |
Every job's quote shows your price before it runs; a few low-priced settings get a smaller discount. Smaller top-ups add up toward a tier too. Price comparisons on this site use list prices unless a price is marked as at volume. Need more volume? Custom pricing for committed monthly spend: email harry@kreatorflow.ai.

|---|---|---|---|---|
| Seedance 2.5, 720p | $0.207/s | $0.1967/s | $0.1915/s | $0.1863/s |

| Seedance 2.0, 1080p | $0.240/s | $0.228/s | $0.222/s | $0.216/s |
| Seedance 2 Fast, 720p | $0.0844/s | $0.0802/s | $0.0781/s | $0.076/s |
| Seedance 2 Fast, 1080p | $0.183/s | $0.1739/s | $0.1693/s | $0.1647/s |
| Seedance 2.0 Mini, 720p | $0.0674/s | $0.0641/s | $0.0624/s | $0.0607/s |
| Seedance 2.0 Mini, 1080p | $0.135/s | $0.1283/s | $0.1249/s | $0.1215/s |
Billed per delivered second; each clip's total is rounded up to a whole token ($0.05). "see quote" means that setting gets a smaller discount on that tier, and the job's quote shows the exact price before it runs.
How do webhooks and MCP fit in?
Pass webhook_url on a create request and KreatorFlow posts a signed event (HMAC-SHA256, header X-KreatorFlow-Signature) when the job ends. Keep a slow polling sweep as a fallback.
For AI assistants, the developer MCP server at https://kreatorflow.ai/v1/mcp takes an API key, and the consumer server at https://kreatorflow.ai/api/mcp lets people sign in to their KreatorFlow account from Claude or ChatGPT. Developer API questions
How is the API priced?
Prepaid tokens at $0.05 each, bought in top-ups from $20. Video is billed per second of output at a rate set by model and resolution, images per image and text to speech per 1,000 characters. Every create response returns the job's quoted cost.
Which models can I call?
Video: Seedance 2.0, Seedance 2.0 Fast, Seedance 2.0 Mini and Seedance 2.5. Images: Seedream 4.5, Seedream 5.0 Lite, Seedream 5.0 Pro and Seedream 5.0 Flash. Audio: text to speech and sound. GET /v1/models returns every alias your key can use with its limits.
Is there a free tier?
No. The API is prepaid, from $20, so you pay only for jobs you run. Jobs that fail release the tokens reserved for them.
How do I know when a video is ready?
Poll GET /v1/jobs/{id} (statuses created, queued, processing, completed, failed, canceled and blocked) or pass webhook_url and receive a signed job.completed or job.failed event; each event is attempted up to 3 times.
Can I use it from Claude or ChatGPT?
Yes. The developer MCP server works with a key, and the consumer MCP server lets Claude, ChatGPT and other MCP clients sign in to a KreatorFlow account.
Who runs the models?
KreatorFlow is an official partner of BytePlus, a ByteDance company. The Seedance and Seedream models are ByteDance's, served through BytePlus; KreatorFlow provides the API, keys, billing and webhooks.
Where do I store generated files?
In your own storage. The job output link is a private download that needs your API key and expires, so copy each finished file to your own bucket when the job completes. The storage guide shows how.
