What the Wan 3.0 API does
Text to video
Describe the subject, the action and the camera; get a 4 to 30 second clip in 16:9, 9:16, 1:1, 4:3, 3:4, 21:9.
First and last frame
Send a first frame, or a first and a last frame, and Wan 3.0 animates between them.
Reference images and characters
Up to 10 images or character_ids, named Image 1, Image 2 in the prompt, to keep a person or product on screen.
Generated sound
Set generate_audio: true for voices, effects and ambience made with the picture. It does not change the price.
Webhooks and idempotency
Pass webhook_url for a signed callback when the job finishes, and an Idempotency-Key header so retries never double-charge.
One key, every model
The same key and tokens run Seedance, Seedream, audio and Lip Sync. Official BytePlus partner.
Wan 3.0 API list rates
Per second of delivered video, from the API's own rate table. Generated sound is free; failed jobs are not charged.
Tokens cost $0.05 each, prepaid in top-ups from $20 to $5000, with no subscription. Model ids: kreator-video-wan-3-prime and kreator-video-wan-3. The volume tiers apply to Seedance video only, so Wan 3.0 is always billed at the list rate in the tables above.
Good to know
- Send only durations (4, 5, 6, 8, 10, 12, 15, 20, 25, 30 s), aspect ratios and resolutions the model lists; anything else returns 400.
- Frames and reference images cannot be combined in one job.
- Up to 30 Wan 3.0 jobs run at once; when full you get 429 rate_limited with Retry-After and nothing is reserved.
- Failed jobs release their reserved tokens automatically.
Wan 3.0 API questions
How do I use the Wan 3.0 API?
Create a key in the KreatorFlow API console, add prepaid tokens, then send POST /v1/videos with model kreator-video-wan-3-prime, a prompt, a duration, an aspect ratio and a resolution. Poll GET /v1/jobs/{job_id} or pass a webhook_url, and download the result from the job.
How much does the Wan 3.0 API cost?
At the list rate, Wan 3.0 Prime costs $0.090 per second at 720p and $0.190 at 1080p; Wan 3.0 costs $0.070 per second at 720p and $0.140 at 1080p, billed per second of delivered video from prepaid tokens ($0.05 each). Generated sound costs nothing extra, and failed jobs are not charged.
What does one Wan 3.0 Prime clip cost?
At the list rate a 5 second clip at 720p is $0.45 and a 10 second clip at 1080p is $1.90. A clip's total is rounded up to whole tokens ($0.05), so the clip price can sit a cent or two above rate times seconds.
Which API has the lowest Wan 3.0 Prime price?
As of 30 October 2026, the KreatorFlow API has the lowest listed price at 720p and 1080p for Wan 3.0 Prime (6 other providers list it), at our list rate, among the 12 API providers in the Seedance API Price Index. Every competitor price is the provider's regular list price, read on its own page; temporary promotions are listed separately and not used for ranking. Each row shows its check date. The full table, with every source and check date, is the Seedance API Price Index.
What is the difference between Wan 3.0 and Wan 3.0 Prime?
Same model and the same request fields. Wan 3.0 Prime (kreator-video-wan-3-prime) runs in a much faster mode and costs a little more per second than Wan 3.0 (kreator-video-wan-3).
Can I animate my own images with the Wan 3.0 API?
Yes. Send a first frame (first_frame_url or first_frame_upload_id), or a first and a last frame, and Wan 3.0 animates between them. Or send up to 10 reference images or character_ids; the prompt names them "Image 1", "Image 2" and so on. Frames and references cannot be combined in one job.
How long and how big can a Wan 3.0 API video be?
4, 5, 6, 8, 10, 12, 15, 20, 25, 30 seconds (up to 30), at 720p or 1080p, in 16:9, 9:16, 1:1, 4:3, 3:4, 21:9.
Are there rate limits on the Wan 3.0 API?
Up to 30 Wan 3.0 jobs run at once across the platform. When it is full, POST /v1/videos answers 429 rate_limited with a Retry-After header and nothing is reserved, so you can retry safely. Send an Idempotency-Key header so a retried request never creates a second job.
Do I need a subscription?
No. Top up between $20 and $5000 of prepaid tokens and pay only for delivered video. The same key also runs ByteDance's Seedance and Seedream models: KreatorFlow is an official partner of BytePlus, a ByteDance company.
