The shortest cartoon (15 seconds) costs 32 credits on Seedance 2.0 Mini, and the longest (8 minutes) costs 2,016 credits on Seedance 2.5. Captions are included. The price is on the button before you start and is charged once.
How long can an AI cartoon be?
From 15 seconds up to 8 minutes. The length slider starts at 15 seconds goes up in 15-second steps to 2 minutes, then a minute at a time: 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, 7 and 8 minutes.
Which cartoon styles can I choose?
5 styles: 3D cartoon, anime, comic book, claymation and ink Toon. The style you pick is kept for the whole cartoon, and it never changes the price.
Can I use my own character?
Yes. Add characters or pictures from your uploads, your generations or your saved assets, or upload a new image. The first one you add leads the story and appears throughout. If you add none, Kartoonz designs a character from your idea. Only use images you have the rights to.
Are captions included?
Yes, at no extra cost. Kartoonz writes word-by-word captions timed to what the characters say and burns them in. Pick one of 3 looks (word pop with glow, karaoke highlight or a clean line) and 1 to 4 words per line, or turn captions off. With captions on, you can download the cartoon with or without subtitles.
What resolution and aspect ratios do I get?
Every cartoon is delivered in 720p, in portrait 9:16, square 1:1 or landscape 16:9. The finished cartoon always fills the shape you chose, even if your character image has a different shape.
Do I need a paid plan?
Kartoonz is on the Creator plan and above (Creator, Pro, Max and Business). A cartoon then uses credits from your plan or from a credit pack, based on its final length. If your plan does not include Kartoonz or your balance is too low, nothing is charged.
Can I use my cartoons commercially?
Yes. What you create is yours to use, commercially too, within our Terms and Acceptable Use Policy. You are responsible for what you publish, including the rights to any character or image you upload.
What happens if a cartoon fails?
The credits are charged once, when your cartoon starts. If it fails before anything has been animated, they go back to your balance automatically.
Which AI models make the cartoons?
You pick the model in the studio: Seedance 2.5, Seedance 2.0, Seedance 2.0 Fast or Seedance 2.0 Mini, ByteDance's video models. All four deliver 720p: Seedance 2.5 is the sharpest, Seedance 2.0 is faster, Seedance 2.0 Fast is for quick drafts and Seedance 2.0 Mini costs the fewest credits.
Is there a Kartoonz app to download?
No download is needed. Kartoonz runs in your web browser on phone, tablet and desktop: open kreatorflow.ai/kartoonz and sign in. There is no separate app in the App Store or Google Play. To open it like an app, use your browser's Add to Home Screen option to put a shortcut on your phone.
