Kitsune costs less than Genjutsu at 720p

Cost of one 15-second clip, the only length Higgsfield publishes a Genjutsu price for. Monthly plan: our monthly credits at the regular monthly price, on our cheapest plan for that resolution. Credit packs: a top-up pack's price per credit; packs come on top of a plan, which Kitsune needs beyond the one free video. Only the options that cost less than Genjutsu are shown, and a resolution with none is left out.

Worked example: one clip, step by step

The same 15-second motion transfer clip, priced the way Kitsune charges it. Kitsune works out credits from the clip's length and resolution; the dollar figure is the credits times what one credit costs you. Only the options that come out cheaper than Genjutsu are shown.

15 s, 720p: Kitsune charges 80 credits.

  1. Max plan

    $99 a month ÷ 2,500 credits × 80 credits = $3.17 (39% cheaper)

  2. Scale top-up

    $78 ÷ 1,750 credits × 80 credits = $3.57 (31% cheaper)

Genjutsu: about $5.20 (104 Higgsfield credits), as Higgsfield publishes it.

Kitsune credits by clip length

Genjutsu's published price covers 15-second clips only. Kitsune charges by the length of the clip you upload, so shorter clips cost less. Credits per clip:

How motion transfer works in Kitsune

From an empty studio to a finished clip. Each step lists what Kitsune accepts, so you can prepare your files before you open it.

  1. 1

    Choose Motion transfer

Open Kitsune and pick Motion transfer. The other mode, Object swap, keeps the clip and replaces one subject in it.

  2. 2

    Add the reference video

The performance to copy: a dance, a fight, a walk. MP4, MOV or WebM, up to 200 MB, at least 4 seconds. Kitsune uses the whole clip up to 30 seconds. You can also pick a clip from your uploads, generations or assets.

  3. 3

    Add your character

1 to 8 images (JPG, PNG or WebP, up to 50 MB each), ideally full body and well lit. Saved characters are in the Characters tab. Several images are read as angles of one character, or, when the clip has several people, as one person each from left to right; a toggle lets you choose.

  4. The same character redrawn in a bold comic-book art style
    4

    Or pick an art style

Instead of a character image, choose one of 16 art styles. Kitsune redraws the clip's first frame in that look and uses it as the character, so the performer stays the same person in a new style.

  5. 5

Add a prompt or a filter (optional)

Up to 1,800 characters to change the scene or the look, and one of 8 colour filters that grade the finished clip without generating it again.

  6. 6

    Pick a resolution and generate

480p, 720p, 1080p and 4K; 4K comes with Pro, Max and Business. The Generate button shows the exact credits first. The result is as long as your clip and keeps your clip's own sound, and credits for a failed job come back automatically.

What each input needs

Reference video

  • MP4, MOV or WebM, up to 200 MB
  • At least 4 seconds; Kitsune uses up to 30
  • 300 to 6,000 pixels on each side
  • Width to height between 2:5 and 5:2
  • One clear performer and a steady camera work best

Character image

  • 1 to 8 images per job
  • JPG, PNG or WebP, up to 50 MB each
  • Up to 6,000 pixels on a side, width to height between 2:5 and 5:2
  • Full body on a plain background shows the outfit and proportions
  • Optional in motion transfer when you pick one of the 16 art styles

Object swap instead

  • The same video limits as motion transfer
  • 1 to 8 images of the new subject
  • What to replace, in up to 300 characters
  • Motion, camera, lighting and background stay as they were

What people use it for

Dance trends

Use a clean take of the routine: one dancer, full body in frame, a steady camera. The timing and camera come from your clip and its own sound is put back on the result, so the moves stay on the beat. For a duo or group, add one image per dancer and Kitsune casts them from left to right.

Product demos

Object swap puts your product into a demo clip you already have: upload the clip, an image of the product and a few words on which object to replace. Or let a mascot present a walk-through with motion transfer. Draft at 480p, 720p and 1080p, then render the final at 4K on Pro, Max and Business.

Character animation

Give an original character a real performance. Design it once, add up to 8 angles for a steadier look, and reuse it across clips. To keep the performer and change the look, pick an art style instead.

Kitsune vs Genjutsu questions

Is Kitsune cheaper than Higgsfield Genjutsu?

For the settings in the price section, yes, against the approximate prices Higgsfield publishes for Genjutsu on the date shown. A 15 s, 720p clip costs $3.17 with Max, against about $5.20 on Genjutsu, 39% less. Resolutions where Kitsune is not cheaper are not listed, and each studio shows the exact cost before you generate.

What do I need for motion transfer in Kitsune?

A reference video with the moves (MP4, MOV or WebM, up to 200 MB, at least 4 seconds) and 1 to 8 images of your character (JPG, PNG or WebP, up to 50 MB each). A prompt is optional. With an art style picked, the character image is optional too.

How long can a Kitsune clip be?

From 4 to 30 seconds. Kitsune uses your whole clip up to 30 seconds, and the result is as long as the part it used, so there is no duration to pick. Higgsfield lists 4 to 30 seconds for Genjutsu.

Can I put several characters, or several angles of one, into a clip?

Yes, with up to 8 images per job. Kitsune counts the people in your clip: with one performer, extra images are angles of the same character; with several, each image replaces one person from left to right. A toggle lets you choose, and anyone without an image keeps their own look.

Can Kitsune restyle a clip without a character image?

Yes, in motion transfer. Pick one of the 16 art styles and Kitsune redraws the clip's first frame in that look, then uses it as the character, so the same performer moves through the clip in the new style.

Does the result keep the music from my clip?

Yes. Kitsune puts your clip's own sound back on the finished video, so a dance still lines up with its track. Only use music and footage you have the rights to.

Which resolutions does Kitsune render, and on which plans?

480p, 720p, 1080p and 4K. Kitsune needs a plan: Creator and up. On the Creator plan it renders 480p, 720p and 1080p; 4K comes with Pro, Max and Business. Higgsfield lists 1080p as Genjutsu's highest resolution.

Is KreatorFlow part of ByteDance or Higgsfield?

No. KreatorFlow is an independent company and an official partner of BytePlus, a ByteDance company. Built on BytePlus, a ByteDance company. It is not affiliated with Higgsfield.

Who owns the videos and images I make?

You do, to the extent the law allows: our Terms say generated images and videos produced by the service are owned by you. AI-generated content may not be copyrightable in every country, and you need the rights to anything you upload as a reference.

Do you train AI models on my prompts or videos?

No. We do not use your private prompts, uploads or generated outputs to train AI models without your explicit opt-in consent.

What happens if a generation fails?

The credits come back automatically. A failed or rejected generation is refunded to your balance, and your credits page shows every charge and refund.

Do unused plan credits roll over?

Credits from full-price months roll over and stack while your plan is active. Credits from a discounted month (such as your first month or a sale) are used first and expire at your next renewal. Credit packs last 12 months from purchase.
