Price per 5-second clip and per second of video, 16:9, no video input. KreatorFlow rounds each job to the next whole token, so the per-clip price is what you are charged. Segmind is shown at the price on its own model page. Only settings where KreatorFlow costs less are listed: 5 here, between 12% and 36% less per clip.

Switching from Segmind

What changes in a Seedance request when you move it from Segmind to the KreatorFlow API. Segmind's side is described as its own API docs show it, with the link below.

  1. Send the job to POST https://kreatorflow.ai/v1/videos instead of POST https://api.segmind.com/v2/seedance-2.0.
  2. Authenticate with Authorization: Bearer $KREATORFLOW_API_KEY, a key from the developer console, instead of x-api-key: $SEGMIND_API_KEY.
  3. Name the model in the body: "kreator-video-seedance-2" for Seedance 2.0, "kreator-video-seedance-2-5" for Seedance 2.5.
  4. Keep the flat JSON body: prompt, resolution, duration, aspect_ratio and generate_audio keep their names.
  5. Use a clip length of 4, 5, 6, 8, 10, 12 and 15 seconds.
  6. Send generate_audio: true if you want audio: it is on by default there and off by default here.
  7. Replace GET https://api.segmind.com/v2/requests/{id}/status, then GET https://api.segmind.com/v2/requests/{id} with webhook_url (signed with X-KreatorFlow-Signature) or GET /v1/jobs/{job_id}, and add an Idempotency-Key header so a retried request returns the same job.

The more you top up, the less Seedance video costs. Your tier comes from the token top-ups you paid for in the last 30 days. It lowers the per-second price of Seedance video and raises your video request limit, automatically, with no contract and no sales call. If your top-ups drop, the tier moves back down.

Seedance 2.0 and 2.5, 720p and above. List rate per second is the rate card price; a clip is billed at that rate and its total rounded up to whole tokens ($0.05), which is why a 5-second clip can cost a cent or two more than rate x 5. Top-up columns: 5-second clips each top-up covers, without a video input. A 10-second clip uses about twice the tokens.

Is the KreatorFlow API cheaper than Segmind for Seedance?

At every setting in the table, yes: Seedance 2.0 at 720p, 1080p and 4K, and Seedance 2.5 at 720p and 1080p, between 12% and 36% less per clip. For example, Seedance 2.0 at 720p is $0.110 per second on KreatorFlow against $0.151 on Segmind: $0.55 against $0.76 for a 5-second clip. Settings where Segmind costs the same or less are not listed.

Is it the same Seedance model?

Both APIs sell ByteDance's Seedance under that name. KreatorFlow is an official partner of BytePlus, a ByteDance company.

How does KreatorFlow API billing work?

You buy prepaid tokens (1 token = $0.05, top-ups from $20). A video job costs its per-second rate times the clip length, rounded to the next whole token. Tokens reserved for a failed job are released.

Is KreatorFlow the cheapest Seedance API at 720p and 1080p?

Yes. KreatorFlow is the cheapest Seedance API at 720p and 1080p for Seedance 2.5, Seedance 2.0 and Seedance 2.0 Fast. At our list rate, a 5-second Seedance 2.5, Seedance 2.0 and Seedance 2.0 Fast video at 720p or 1080p costs less on the KreatorFlow API than the regular list price of any of the 12 other API providers we track (each provider's own page, checked 25 October 2026 to 2 November 2026). Seedance 2.0 Mini is not included: another provider lists it for the same or less at 720p.

Segmind uses an x-api-key header. What does KreatorFlow use?

Authorization: Bearer $KREATORFLOW_API_KEY, with a key from the developer console. Segmind names the model in the URL (/v2/seedance-2.0); on KreatorFlow every video job goes to POST /v1/videos and the model is a field in the JSON body.

Segmind defaults to a 10-second clip. Which lengths does KreatorFlow take?

The KreatorFlow API takes Seedance 2.0 clips of 4, 5, 6, 8, 10, 12 and 15 seconds, the same lengths Segmind's model page lists. Send duration on every request rather than relying on a default, so the clip you pay for is the one you asked for.

Do I still poll for results?

You can: poll GET /v1/jobs/{job_id} the way you poll Segmind's /v2/requests/{id}/status. Or pass webhook_url and receive a signed callback (X-KreatorFlow-Signature) when the job completes, fails, is canceled or is blocked.

Is KreatorFlow part of Segmind?

No. KreatorFlow is an independent company with no connection to Segmind.

Is there volume pricing for the Seedance API?

Yes. Once your paid top-ups in the last 30 days reach $1,000, Seedance video costs up to 5% less per second, rising to up to 10% off at $5,000 (Enterprise), and your video request limit goes up with each tier.
