Switching from Kie.ai
What changes in a Seedance request when you move it from Kie.ai to the KreatorFlow API. Kie.ai's side is described as its own API docs show it, with the link below.
- Send the job to POST https://kreatorflow.ai/v1/videos instead of POST https://api.kie.ai/api/v1/jobs/createTask.
- Authenticate with Authorization: Bearer $KREATORFLOW_API_KEY, a key from the developer console, instead of Authorization: Bearer $KIE_API_KEY.
- Name the model in the body: "kreator-video-seedance-2" for Seedance 2.0, "kreator-video-seedance-2-5" for Seedance 2.5.
- Move the fields out of "input": prompt, resolution, duration, aspect_ratio and generate_audio go at the top level of the JSON body.
- Use a clip length of 4, 5, 6, 8, 10, 12 and 15 seconds; "-1" for an automatic length is not accepted.
- Send generate_audio: true if you want audio: it is on by default there and off by default here.
- Replace GET https://api.kie.ai/api/v1/jobs/recordInfo?taskId={taskId} and callBackUrl with webhook_url (signed with X-KreatorFlow-Signature) or GET /v1/jobs/{job_id}, and add an Idempotency-Key header so a retried request returns the same job.

The more you top up, the less Seedance video costs. Your tier comes from the token top-ups you paid for in the last 30 days. It lowers the per-second price of Seedance video and raises your video request limit, automatically, with no contract and no sales call. If your top-ups drop, the tier moves back down.

List rate per second is the rate card price; a clip is billed at that rate and its total rounded up to whole tokens ($0.05), which is why a 5-second clip can cost a cent or two more than rate x 5. Top-up columns: 5-second clips each top-up covers, without a video input. A 10-second clip uses about twice the tokens.

Is the KreatorFlow API cheaper than Kie.ai for Seedance?
At every setting in the table, yes: Seedance 2.0 at 480p, 720p, 1080p and 4K, and Seedance 2.5 at 720p and 1080p, between 15% and 52% less per clip. For example, Seedance 2.0 at 720p is $0.110 per second on KreatorFlow against $0.205 on Kie.ai: $0.55 against $1.03 for a 5-second clip. Settings where Kie.ai costs the same or less are not listed.
Is it the same Seedance model?
Both APIs sell ByteDance's Seedance under that name. KreatorFlow is an official partner of BytePlus, a ByteDance company.
How does KreatorFlow API billing work?
You buy prepaid tokens (1 token = $0.05, top-ups from $20). A video job costs its per-second rate times the clip length, rounded to the next whole token. Tokens reserved for a failed job are released.
Is KreatorFlow the cheapest Seedance API at 720p and 1080p?
Yes. KreatorFlow is the cheapest Seedance API at 720p and 1080p for Seedance 2.5, Seedance 2.0 and Seedance 2.0 Fast. At our list rate, a 5-second Seedance 2.5, Seedance 2.0 and Seedance 2.0 Fast video at 720p or 1080p costs less on the KreatorFlow API than the regular list price of any of the 12 other API providers we track (each provider's own page, checked 25 October 2026 to 2 November 2026). Seedance 2.0 Mini is not included: another provider lists it for the same or less at 720p.
How do you turn Kie.ai credits into dollars?
At the value Kie.ai publishes on its pricing page: one credit is $0.005. Its per-second credit price at each resolution times 5 seconds gives the per-clip price in the table. Bonus credits on some top-ups are not counted, as with every other promotion.
Do I keep the input object and callBackUrl from Kie.ai?
No. Kie.ai nests the parameters under "input" and takes callBackUrl next to it. On KreatorFlow, prompt, duration, resolution, aspect_ratio and generate_audio sit at the top level of the JSON body, and the callback is webhook_url, signed with X-KreatorFlow-Signature. Clip lengths are 4, 5, 6, 8, 10, 12 and 15 seconds; -1 for an automatic length is not accepted.
Do I still poll for results?
You can: poll GET /v1/jobs/{job_id} the way you poll recordInfo on Kie.ai. Or pass webhook_url and receive job.completed, job.failed, job.canceled or job.blocked as a signed callback.
Is KreatorFlow part of Kie.ai?
No. KreatorFlow is an independent company with no connection to Kie.ai.
Is there volume pricing for the Seedance API?
