Volume pricing for the Seedance API
The more you top up, the less Seedance video costs. Your tier comes from the token top-ups you paid for in the last 30 days. It lowers the per-second price of Seedance video and raises your video request limit, automatically, with no contract and no sales call. If your top-ups drop, the tier moves back down.
| Tier | Paid top-ups, last 30 days | Seedance video price | Video requests / minute | Reached in one top-up |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| Standard | Any | List price | 20 | – |
| Scale | $1,000+ | up to 5% off | 60 | Volume pack ($1,250) |
| Growth | $2,500+ | up to 7.5% off | 120 | Volume+ pack ($2,500) |
| Enterprise | $5,000+ | up to 10% off | 300 | Enterprise pack ($5,000) |
Every job's quote shows your price before it runs; a few low-priced settings get a smaller discount. Smaller top-ups add up toward a tier too. Price comparisons on this site use list prices unless a price is marked as at volume. Need more volume? Custom pricing for committed monthly spend: email harry@kreatorflow.ai.

Billed per delivered second; each clip's total is rounded up to a whole token ($0.05). "see quote" means that setting gets a smaller discount on that tier, and the job's quote shows the exact price before it runs.

How to write Seedance 2.5 prompts
- Write the shot as a timeline when it runs past 10 seconds: what happens in the first seconds, the middle and the end.
- Name one camera move per beat (slow push in, orbit, handheld follow) instead of a list of moves at once.
- Use references for anything that must stay the same, such as a product, a face you own or a voice, and describe the action in the prompt.
- Say how the clip should sound when you want audio: room tone, music style, or that the person talks to camera.
Weak
a woman talking in a park
Strong
0 to 10 s: a woman in a white t-shirt stands in a sunny park and talks to camera, head and shoulders, gentle handheld. 10 to 20 s: she laughs and turns to point at the trees, camera follows. 20 to 30 s: slow push in on her face as she finishes. Natural daylight, birdsong, clear voice.
More in the Seedance prompt guide.
What to use the Seedance 2.5 API for
- Long single shots and talking-head clips up to 30 seconds
- Ads that need a product or character to stay the same from start to end
- Scenes led by a reference clip or an audio track
Seedance 2.5 API limitations
- Clips run from 4 to 30 seconds per request; longer videos are several clips joined in your own pipeline.
- The highest resolution is 4K.
- References of real people, celebrities or public figures are declined, and a declined job is not charged.
- The output link needs your API key and expires, so copy each finished file to your own storage.
- Generation takes time: poll every 10 to 15 seconds or use a webhook rather than holding a request open.
Seedance 2.5 API questions
How much does the Seedance 2.5 API cost per second?
List rate on the KreatorFlow API: $0.207 at 720p, $0.444 at 1080p and $0.999 at 4K, per second of delivered video, billed from prepaid tokens with no subscription. Volume price (from $5,000 in top-ups over 30 days): $0.1863 at 720p, $0.3996 at 1080p and $0.8991 at 4K. Every job is quoted before it runs.
What does one Seedance 2.5 clip cost?
At the list rate a 5 second clip at 720p is $1.05 and a 10 second clip at 1080p is $4.45. A clip's total is rounded up to whole tokens ($0.05), so the clip price can sit a cent or two above rate times seconds.
Do failed jobs cost anything?
No. Tokens are reserved when a job is accepted and released if it fails or is refused, so you pay only for delivered video.
Is this the official Seedance 2.5 API?
It is KreatorFlow's own API, built on BytePlus, a ByteDance company. KreatorFlow is an official partner of BytePlus, a ByteDance company, and it sends your requests to Seedance 2.5 through BytePlus, behind a stable KreatorFlow model alias and one KreatorFlow key.
How long can a Seedance 2.5 clip be?
From 4 to 30 seconds per request, in 720p, 1080p, 4K.
How do I get a Seedance 2.5 API key?
Sign in to the KreatorFlow API console, create a key on the API keys tab and top up tokens from $20. The same key works for every Seedance and Seedream model, so switching models is one field in the request.
Is there a free Seedance 2.5 API?
No. The API is prepaid, so you pay only for the clips you make, from $20 with no subscription. Jobs that fail are not charged: the tokens reserved for them go back to your balance. The price calculator above shows the exact cost before you start.
Which resolutions and aspect ratios does Seedance 2.5 support?
720p, 1080p, 4K, in 16:9, 9:16, 1:1, 4:3, 3:4, 21:9, or adaptive to match an input image or clip.
Can I send reference images, video or audio to Seedance 2.5?
Yes: up to 9 images, 3 video clips and 3 audio clips per job, as public HTTPS URLs or upload ids from POST /v1/uploads. References must be media you own or have permission to use; a photo of a real person is declined, so register an owned character instead.
Do I have to poll, or are there webhooks?
Both work. Pass webhook_url and KreatorFlow posts a signed event when the job completes, fails, is canceled or blocked. Or poll GET /v1/jobs/{id} every 10 to 15 seconds.
What are the rate limits?
POST /v1/videos accepts 20 requests a minute per developer account and GET /v1/jobs/{id} 120 a minute. A 429 response carries a Retry-After header with the seconds to wait.
Do you train on my prompts or videos?
No. KreatorFlow does not use your private prompts or generated outputs to train AI models without your explicit opt-in.
Why use KreatorFlow instead of going to BytePlus directly?
KreatorFlow is an official partner of BytePlus, a ByteDance company, and it adds one key for every Seedance and Seedream model, prepaid card top-ups from $20, per-second prices, uploads for references, signed webhooks and idempotent requests, with no enterprise sign-up.
Which API has the lowest Seedance 2.5 price?
At 720p, KreatorFlow had the lowest price of the 5 providers we checked on 30 October 2026: $1.05 for 5 s, against $1.156 on Replicate. At 1080p, KreatorFlow had the lowest price of the 4 providers we checked on 30 October 2026: $2.25 for 5 s, against $3.302 on Kinovi.
Why do some sites quote Seedance 2.5 at about $0.13 per second?
Those are promotional or lower-tier rates: launch discounts, member-only prices or cheaper output settings, not the regular list price at 720p or 1080p. At 720p and 1080p list prices, the KreatorFlow Seedance 2.5 API is $0.207 a second and $0.444 a second, from prepaid tokens with no subscription. The Price Index lists each provider's regular list price next to ours.
Is there volume pricing for the Seedance API?
Yes. Once your paid top-ups in the last 30 days reach $1,000, Seedance video costs up to 5% less per second, rising to up to 10% off at $5,000 (Enterprise), and your video request limit goes up with each tier. It applies automatically, with no contract, and each job's quote shows your price before it runs. For more volume than that, email harry@kreatorflow.ai.
